The Story
Before rebranding as Kolter, the Cologne-based DJ and producer DJOKO was already making serious waves in the minimal and deep tech scene. "Overflow" landed on Rawsome Deep in 2020 and quickly became a staple — tight, percussive, and locked into that 128 BPM groove that deep tech lives and dies by. The release also features a remix from Archie Hamilton, but the original stands on its own as a masterclass in functional dancefloor production. DJOKO (now Kolter) has since gone on to release on PIV, Shall Not Fade, and Berg Audio, while running his own HOOVE and Koltrax imprints. His sound blends classic house, 90s breakbeat influence, and modern minimal-tech — and "Overflow" is a perfect snapshot of that DNA.
