Phonique — the Berlin-based DJ/producer who runs Zatar Music — took Belkina's already excellent Pyjama Party and gave it exactly what it needed for the club: more weight, more movement, and a late-night roll. Where the original is warm and inviting, the Phonique remix is deeper and more insistent. It keeps the charm and melody intact but adds a driving undertow that pulls you onto the dancefloor. As Data Transmission put it in their premiere: "His remix keeps the charm of Belkina's track intact, but adds more weight, more movement and a late-night roll that makes sense in dim rooms, small basements and those after-hours corners where the best records tend to land." At 123 BPM in F minor, it sits one BPM above the original and in a different key — giving DJs the option to play both versions in a set with a subtle shift in energy. This is labelhead-remixing-his-own-artist done right.
